Week 8 Tutorial

In this week tutorial, we have to create this 2d image to 3d. We have to do this in a group of 4 and divide our task. I'm doing the building, the truck and the tube role. I used 3dMax software.

Create a box.

Uses array command.

Add a glass into the building and change the blocks colour.

Use box to make the truck.

Use cylinder to make the tube role.

Week 7 Tutorial

This week we have to make a model of the Gherkin Tower by Norman Foster. To do this we have to use 2 software (3dMax and Rhino).

First, uses 3dMax software and create a helix, then copy another 11 helixs rotated around z and mirror. Export the file as dwg and open it in Rhino.

Import the file in Rhino. I use command like intersect, split and rebuild. Then export it to 3dMax.

Import the file in the 3dMax, then use modifier command...but in this final step i got lost when creating the lattice...because all the line come in pieces. I can't delete it as in one group. I did try to do this exercise again from the beginning but i doesn't work.
